OUR GOALS
What’s Your Pie-In-The-Sky Goal?
Whether we scribble them on napkins or ramble about them on blogs, we all have goals. That’s why we gave you the lowdown on how goal makers, from U.S. soccer midfielder Aly Wagner to songwriter Lori McKenna are crossing off their to-dos.
But we want to hear your goals, too. Personal, professional, or just plain silly, tell us what you’re set on conquering.

My hubby and I own a 28ft Airstream. I would love to simplify our lives so much that we could just live in it and travel around.
My goals are to finish my graduate degrees in Holistic Nutrition and to become a personal trainer. I want to help people to get healthy and happy. My ultimate dream for my future would be to travel around the world sharing my knowledge with others and seeing that aha monent when they figure it out for themselves, and they take it upon themselves to make the changes they need. That, and love, freedom from debt, and enlightenment.
As a personal trainer and motivational speaker and webhost, to get older women to re-evaluate choices for their health and energy and happiness, as I did after I turned 60. As long as we're talking pie in the sky, I'd like to wipe the self-punishing words diet and exercise from personal vocabularies. Far better to talk about movement and nourishment. Words can be sooo powerful.
To be a successful, highly-motivating personal trainer. To be paid well to help people find their true self and lasting health through exercise and healthy eating, that is my dream.

To be an artist! Draw Manga, comics, or cartoons. And make it a career. Otherwise, write and publish a novel!
To Walk again....oh, so simple right?
I must find, WANTED: Employer to give me an opportunity for an employment transition. My past jobs were to problematic along with my illness. A fair change to utilize my skills and use them effectively in a new employment role and learn new qualifications
Recently My hubby and I celebrated our five year anniversary. We went to the most beautiful place I have ever been. While we were gone I did a lot of soal searching. I am going to go back to school and take some business classes so I can one day open my own Inn and move to the area where we had an amazing two days.
1) Passing the CPA Exam (all 4 parts)
2) Losing 20 pounds
3) Paying off almost $10,000 in credit card debit
I will accomplish these things all this FALL!! By November, I plan to be debt free, further along in my professional career, and get my college body back!!
I am the mother of a two year old who is going to quit my full time job to go back to school full time to get a degree in nursing! I never thought someone who didn't graduate from high school could have a fiance and son and feel so much support that they can do ANYTHING this is the first time in my life I have EVER felt like this!!!
I'm just a few hurdles away from finishing my Ph.D. in school psychology. For a girl who came from a rural town with a couple of stoplights and a McDonald's, it's exciting to see the product of hard work and determination!
To finish my BA in psychology once and for all.
The scale is tickling 230 and I'm disgusted with myself. I can't believe years ago when I was 145 I thought I was FAT!!! Somehow I want to get it all back under control, and get down to a healthy weight around 150.
I'd love to take my 10+ years of doing pottery off-and-on (both wheel and slab work) and turn it into a REAL career. Create, sell my wares, perhaps teach. Someday I want my own studio, and I'd like it to be large enough for classroom space, to rent studio space to other artists, and display space so they could consign their pieces for sale. Win-win for everyone.
I would love to get down to 130, current at 177. Also to get my finances in perfect order. Being in debt really brings me down
I want to sing my Canadian national anthem at a Canucks hockey game. I am very patriotic, and love to sing.
To become the most healthy ex-smoker, ex-fat person that I can possibly be. (...and if I can be a couple of sizes smaller in the process--especially in the bra area--so much the better!!!)
To get down to 170 pounds. I'm 240...so ive got a long way and I dont try hard enough. Its hard when you have a bf who tells you he loves you no matter what and a father who keeps bringing home junk no matter how many times you tell him not to.
Become a sucessful oil painter who is actually able to send child through college. I've got time hes only 2 right now.
I also want to become extremely fit and active. I have never really been "fit" and I would love to have a body that I am proud of instead of ashamed of.
I want to be an environmental consultant
I want to become very active and fit. & afterwards become a marine biologist. I think that would be fun, I love the outdoors and the ocean.
Own my own marketing/design business.
I want to become a School Librarian
In the following order:
1. Reduce body fat percentage to 20%
2. Obtain certification as a personal trainer
3. Obtain certification to teach kindergarten
